MY WISH......MY PRAYER

I will love to wish you a happy Independence celebration and a sincere congratulation to all Nigerians for the courage to remain together through thick and thin as a united people.

As a nation, we may not be where we ought to be as regards nation building, security, infrastructural development, employment / job creation, education etc but we must be thankful because we are no longer stuck in the past.

In the past few years, there have been several strides in the development of our great country Nigeria; the future is brighter and beckoning on us as a people to “Arise.......Nigeria's Call Obey”

It gladdens my heart to know that we are heeding this sacred call and joining hands to build a greater and better nation, indivisible under God. Hence I join the millions of my compatriots at home and in the Diaspora to say: O God of creation, direct our noble cause. Guide our leader's right; help our youth the truth to know, in love and honesty to grow and living just and true. Great lofty heights attain to build a nation where peace and justice shall reign.

A blessed nation with beautiful landscapes and natural resources; her story fascinates and at times saddens me because over the years these enormous wealth have been mismanaged. It is never too late to retrace our steps and do what is right from the leadership to the followers.

I dare say as a proud citizen of the largest black race on earth and the giant of Africa, NIGERIA.....we hail thee, our own dear native land. Though tribe and tongue may differ, in brotherhood we stand. Nigerians are proud to serve our sovereign Motherland. Our flag shall be a symbol that truth and justice reign, in peace or battle honoured, and this we count as gain. To hand on to our children, a banner without stain. O God of creation, grant this our request, help us to build a nation where no man is oppressed, and so with peace and plenty Nigeria may be blessed.
